James took cupcakes to his preschool class and got a "Happy Birthday Crown." My mom and cousin Kadin came up and surprised us the night before and stayed for the party.
He picked out a Batman cake this year and since he had a HUGE OVER THE TOP party this year, I wan't about to make one!
We had 8 or 9 kids came and a couple couldn't make it. It was a bit crazy!!

Hope you had a rest after the party - I'd imagine a room full of wee boys would have been quite exhausting!
I think my mom probably said that every year--no more big birthday parties--but we sure had a lot of great birthday parties.
