Disneyland

We had a great trip to Disneyland this year. We pretty much walked on the rides. The lines were really short. My Dad was in town on business and joined us for a few days in the park. We went on just about everything including my favorite Splash Mountain (I sat in the front both times and got soaked) and a new favorite The Tower of Terror! The boys enjoyed themselves. William was not so sure about the rides as James. James favorite rides were Buzz Lightyear and Star Tours. He is not such a fan of Pirates, The Matterhorn, and Space Mountain. If anyone is planning a trip there soon, let me know I have some good Disneyland tips!

Its a...

For those who don't know, we are expecting baby number three. We had our ultra-sound today and saw that we have a healthy baby GIRL in the making! So for those keeping track this makes me wrong 3 out of 3 times. We are excited and I am a little shocked. I have a couple more months to get used to the idea though. The baby is due April 9th.

James's Happy Birthday

James took cupcakes to his preschool class and got a "Happy Birthday Crown." My mom and cousin Kadin came up and surprised us the night before and stayed for the party.
He picked out a Batman cake this year and since he had a HUGE OVER THE TOP party this year, I wan't about to make one!

We had 8 or 9 kids came and a couple couldn't make it. It was a bit crazy!!

More presents

He had the time of his life, which is great because it will be the only time in his life that he has a party that big.

Reverence Issues

So for the past couple of months, I have not been able to sit through all of Sacrament meeting without having some kind of an episode with the kids. I have tried everything under the sun. Last week was our first week to sit through the entire meeting without having to leave. It was wonderful! James cracked me up during the Sacrament when he ate more bread than he was supposed to. He leaned over to me and said excitedly, "I got two...my fingers forgot to get one!!!" You would have thought he won the lottery...he was pretty excited about the "mistake."

Fall Bike Racing

James enjoys racing...be it running or bike racing. He has a "track" he goes on and is pretty good at sticking to it. William also enjoys bike racing. Unfortunately, he will race all the way to the mall. He heads straight down the street and never comes back. As a result, he doesn't get out much. I have seriously chased him down the street dozens of times. He looks back at me and keeps on going. We have to get all of our activity in before winter hits. During the winter, we are pretty much trapped inside most of the day. I'll have to get the boys a Wii fit for Christmas!

About me

NO...these messes are not from my kids! I get tagged from time to time to share some info about myself and I never get around to it so here's a compromise. I don't think this is a real surprise for those who know me, but things just don't work for me. I am not a pessimistic person...this is just a fact of my life. I decided to document my mishaps for a week and these were the winners. I might add that I also managed to drop each of my piano students piano folders, which are filled with loose paper. This sometimes happens more than once in a lesson. And there you have it. So if you come in my house and see keys on the floor or papers scattered on the ground you'll know what's up!

Halloween Night

I am sure that you will be able to tell from my posts that I'm a bit Halloween obsessed. We had a lot of fun this year. Lots of parties and overstimulation for the kids! Not to mention the candy! It was a good year.

Trunk-or-treat at the Mall

James and William waiting in line.

James and his friend Jack the bat.

I told the boys that I would get down to take their picture and they both squatted down too. Cuties!

William just reclined in his stroller and ate candy after candy, while they dropped more candy in his bucket.

Work Halloween Party

Brent won the donut on a string contest. FYI-Brent is a real quiet guy, but rarely looses. I find it irritating...unless, of course, I'm on his team!

William wasn't even participating in this until he saw the donut and could not be restrained!

James is a cheater and used his hands!

These are my once a year Halloween cookies.

Sunbeam Halloween Party

James had a great time at his first Halloween party!

Pumpkin Walk

For those who don't live here, the pumpkin walk is a lot of different displays made from pumpkins around a yearly theme. This year was about Heroes. James's class decorated the firman pumpkins and then went on a field trip to see them.

William was invited too.

James followed his friend all over the walk in record speed. We pretty much lost the entire class.

One of the dispays. Phelps winning in the Olympics. I thought it was pretty creative even though one onlooker noticed that they looked dead in the water!

Just Because

Last week I got "Just Because" flowers. They were beautiful white roses and opened up to be huge. I really appreciate being appreciated! Thank you Brent!
