ER

A couple of weeks ago, James got really sick. He woke up from a nap and was having difficulties breathing so I called the on call doctor since it was after hours. He said to take him to the ER and to not to the Instacare (My brother-in-law calls it "Instead of Care"). Anyways, Brent took him in and they fixed him up real well. James has been begging to go back ever since. He got popscicles, got to ride on a bed all the way down to X-Ray, and got some cool stickers. I highly recommend it for some new entertainment for your child. Of course, it cost us about $500, but who can put a price on some great fun! Forget Disneyland...we're going to the ER this year!

Not to make light of the subject, (I am sorry he was sick) but next time try out the doc's chair on wheels. I highly suggest going down the hall on your tummy...not from experience of course *wink wink*

Certainly beats having to queue for any rides at Disneyland... $500? Ouch. Suddenly the NHS doesn't seem so bad... although we would've had to wait for a few months to be able to go to the hospital ;)

Was he ok in the end?

Hey, nobody told me about this. I'm glad he's okay and that you've got your vacation plans made, although I was hoping you'd come here this winter. We don't have Disneyland, but we do have warm weather and "cousins!"

I hope that James is feeling better. It is good that he had such a good experience at the hospital. It can be a scary place.

I'm so glad I'm hearing about this weeks later- HELLO?!! We would've brought him more Popsicles at home so then he would know that he doesn't have to jump off the top of the swing set or something to get them again!
